February 28th, 2004 we were married in the Salt Lake City Temple. You could assume that's where our story began, but you'd be dead wrong. Certainly our marriage started here . . .

But our story really began here:

At our High School where we met. 

The original purpose of this blog was that we wanted to write our story down. For others to read, and for us to remember. Especially since on ocassion we both have different recollections of certain events that took place 9 years ago.

This blog is also a "He Said" "She Said" type of blog. Where we discuss our everyday lives, how normal or completely bizarre they might me. 

The name of the blog was the final decision after about two hours of tossing out ideas. The Wife of course insisted on something romantic and girly, based on movie quotes, song lyrics and lovely gestures. The Husband however wanted something about food in the title (possibly because The Wife hadn't made dinner yet). Eventually we got the word Sammich stuck in our heads and it wouldn't leave (not even after we had Subway for dinner), so we settled on Snuggles & Sammiches. But it really does describe us. In detail. We are loving towards each other. We are one anothers playmates and best friends, lovers and soul mates. And there has been more than one time when The Husband has called out, "Woman, fetch me a Sammich!"
