About Me - The Husband

Hey, I'm The Husband. I am 25, and have been so only for a month or so now. I have a few ambitions but not many. I like the semi-solitary life of a video gamer, who dreams of web-spinning throughout New York, in red and blue spandex, no less. Dangling and exposing my spandexed testes to the general public as the only person smart/stupid/awesome enough to attempt irradiating a spider and as it dies from an overdose of aforementioned radiation wiping it face on the back of my hand, until it sprays some sort of venom into my bloodstream.

Now I say this is a semi-solitary life because I was able to trick a girl in high school into loving me and eventually marrying me. Who is this special/wonderful/dumb (and easily trickable) lady you may ask? Why, she's my Mary Jane, of course.

I was raise by both of my parents who loved me and my mother was home with me and my brother after school. My mother babysat several children so that she could earn a steady paycheck and be home for us. I was raised Mormon with a firm belief in God, and along with that also had quite a religious background. Being raised in such an environment has brought me up with the view that unless there is a severe need for money the woman doesn't need to work. I make plenty of money at my job to provide for the three of us. You may or may not know that we currently have no children, so by the three of us I mean me, The Wife, and my video gaming.

We spend our days watching movies, or TV on DVD that I miss while at work, gaming in our own locations in our room. We see a lot of movies in theatre, although frugality being key, we tend to catch more and more at the dollar theatre. I am a fat guy and I contend that while this is my fault, that there are other things at play. Within an hour from home we have many great places that serve excellent food. The Wife calls me a "food snob". Some of the places I enjoy are expensive, but I have quite a sensitive pallet, and good food is sort of a weakspot for me. I am trying to eat better (Sweet Tomatoes and such) but nothing is better than Steak, med-rare of course.
